The aim of this mini-symposium is to highlight the role of computation and optimization in the modern day problems in the sciences and engineering. The speakers are researchers working in various areas of computation and optimization and their applications. The workshop aims to introduce the graduate and advanced undergraduate students and young researchers to the exciting area of computation and optimization so that they can conduct their own research in this area.
